Streamlining IconFor those who are using the streamlining capabilities of the GoMangosteen system, we have some important announcements about the operation of this feature.

Effective Immediately:
ONE Deadline –> Monday 11:59pm PST

There will no longer be three (3) deadlines each week, but just 1 deadline Monday at Midnight PST. This allows a week at a time to sign people up, even potentially reorder them before the deadline each week.

This change should allow simpler operations for Gatekeepers managing their streamlines. Once a week, before the deadline hits, it is advised to check your GoMangosteen streamline against your official XanGo downline. Update your GoMangosteen streamline to match (by making sure the “bottom” of the streamline is correct) and all the pending new signups will be entered in order in the correct location.

NOTE:
We’re still updating our email templates and back office instructions to match these changes. But they should all be updated soon to match what is being described here.

OTHER ENHANCEMENTS:

1. Next-day Juice shipment.
People signing up in a streamline will get an official XANGO ID# and have their juice shipped, but will be “on-hold” for final signup until after the deadline period. This gives sponsors a chance to adjust sponsor ID’s and/or placement ID’s before finalization. (available anyday.. working with XANGO right now)

2. Multiple Gatekeepers
We have added the ability for a second Gatekeeper on each streamline. Think of this as a BACKUP. Having a backup should be especially helpful for those who travel a lot, or who would like somebody to be their backup when they are unavailable. Just let us know at support if you’d like to add a second Gatekeeper to your streamline.. and who.

3. Multiple Streamline holding tank
For those managing multiple streamlines… we will have a holding tank for your new signups. You then merely have to pick which streamline they should go to, and everything else continues like normal.

4. Reorder PENDING signups
This will be a Gatekeeper-only feature. This will add the ability to rearrange the order of PENDING signups before the deadline period. Obviously we want to encourage sparing use of this, but there are special cases when you’d like to move people to the front of the line or switch around a few people.

In the meantime… you can always send a support ticket or call the support line if you have any questions or needs for your group. Everything is operational, and we will continue our enhancements without affecting current functionality.

Video Tracking Added

Video statistics

We have some exciting news to announce. All of our videos are now trackable to the second! That’s right, now when you have a prospect visiting your site… our system will actually tell you how much of every video they have watched.

First of all, a visitor does have to sign-in to your site… we still do not track anonymous website surfers. If you use a capture/landing page, then once somebody gives you a name & email they are stored in your contact manager and the tracking begins. Even if they return at a later date, the tracking should pick up where they left off.

Use this to your advantage. Whether you direct people to your Home Page to view a series of videos, or you have them step through the site… the combination of page visits and video tracking gives you a detailed glimpse of the interest level of your visitor. You will know exactly what they’ve watched, how much, and what they chose to skip past.

Remember… anonymous surfers remain anonymous (wouldn’t have it any other way). But if you use any of the landing pages, then when visitors fill in a name & email, they will be added to your contact manager and the stats will begin recording.

Look for continued refinement of the way the stats are reported, and a general improvement of the look of the contact manager area.

NEW Joe’s Story

XanGo recently released a new version of the Joe’s Story video. We’ve updated the GoMangosteen site so that this 2008 version of Joe’s Story is now on the site ready to watch.

We still have the 2006 version of Joe’s Story as one of the CHOICES for your Home Page options. It is a little shorter (6:40min vs. 9:12min) and some might still prefer it.

Advanced Visitor Tracking with Google Analytics

Google AnalyticsMany members have been asking for more advanced tracking features on the website. GoMangosteen is please to announce that we’ve added the ability to add Google Analytics to your GoMangosteen account! With this advanced tracking in place, you’ll be able to get data even we didn’t know was possible!

For more information and to set up your account, do the following:

  • Login to your GoMangosteen Member’s Area
  • Go to Stats > Advanced – Google Analytics
  • Follow the instructions on that page

You will need a Google account (they’re free of course). If you have a GMail account, you’ve already got one.

Custom Keyword Option

In order to help you improve your chances of being found by search engines, we’re now offering the option of adding you own custom meta keywords. Here’s how to do it:

  • Login to your Member’s Area
  • Go to Training & Resources > Advanced – Custom Keywords
  • Enter your own keywords in the box. You can use the default list to help you, but be sure and enter your physical location including city, surrounding areas, etc.

In addition to the keywords META tag on each page, these keywords will also be displayed on your contact page. So be sure that you have a customized contact page message. Anything you can do to help differentiate your website will help in your search ranking efforts.

Share It Promotion

 

The XanGo “Share It” promotion has been launched. We wanted to announce that this special promotional has now been integrated into the GoMangosteen website.

If you go to your website and click on the Order/Join pages… you will notice that starting on “Step 1″ there is now an alert box describing how to get your membership fee waived. It specifically says to order at least 2 cases on Initial Order and 2 cases on Autoship.

Share It - example

During the GoMangosteen ordering process, we try to accurately estimate the cost of the order. Too many times the only estimate given is “$100/case and $35 to signup”… but when the actual charge is made there is additional sales tax and/or shipping. Your new enrollee can be taken by surprise, and that’s not a good way to start your business relationship.

The GoMangosteen order process estimates the actual cost including shipping and handling to avoid any surprises with the charge.

– AND NOW… we’ve integrated the SHARE-IT campaign, so that if somebody places an order with at least 2 cases Initial Order and a 2-case autoship… the estimate will show the “Membership Fee (Waived)”.

We’re committed to making your GoMangosteen site one of the most useful tools in your XANGO business toolbox. 2008 is shaping up to be a big year with a number of new changes from XANGO (new product, new promotions, etc.). GoMangosteen.com is also going to bring a lot of changes and additions this year.

Here’s a quick list of just some of the things in the works right now:

  • New BLOG.
  • New VIDEOS and back-office content.
  • Marketing and Web 2.0 training
  • Updated and extended autoresponder
  • Integration of new samples and the new glimpse product line.

THE BLOG
We wanted to stay in touch better with our users, and have useful content and training in more than one place. A blog is a perfect format to not only share information with you, but to hear your comments and get your feedback. Don’t be shy about posting, either, as you might get some traffic from your posts.

If you SUBSCRIBE to the blog RSS feed (built into many browsers now), then you’ll stay current without even having to read your email.

NEW VIDEOS
We’re revising the “Why XANGO?” video into THREE short segments that will each be a powerful 2-minutes:
1. What is XANGO?
2. Why XANGO?
3. How to XANGO?

Attention spans are short online, but almost anyone will sit down for 2 minute segments of something that peaks their interest. These videos will be just long enough to excite, but will lead to further exploration!

MARKETING and WEB 2.0 Training
It’s only fair that you know… just having a replicating website (like GoMangosteen) is not going to bring you business. There are millions upon millions of websites, and replicating sites will never be indexed high on search engines by themselves.

I’m being totally honest with you here because you should not be spending a lot of money trying to have search engine optimization done on your site, etc. A website like GoMangosteen is valuable, but has specific purposes:

  1. Followup with people interested… allowing them to learn and study more information online
  2. Capture pages and autoresponders allow you to build up a pipeline of interested prospects.
  3. Instant online presence
  4. Simplification of ordering processes, and technology

It’s a perfect tool when you’re talking to people first, either in-person or on the phone, and to disseminate information efficiently.

For those who are serious about marketing online, however, additional tools should be used, and there are many things you can do to bring prospects and people TO YOU. This kind of thing we will begin training in our member’s area this year.

UPDATED & EXTENDED Autoresponder
We’re lengthening the autoresponder series and filling it with great content to keep you in-touch with your prospects over the long haul. Name recognition is important, therefore repetition is also important.

You never know when your message will catch somebody at “the right time” and they’ll be ready to try XANGO!

Some other ideas are in the works for an extended training series as well.

NEW PRODUCTS
Last, but just as exciting…

As the new products hit the markets, we will be introducing new pages that will be integrated into your GoMangosteen site.

  • Want to give out a sample? Great… we’ll have a page for that.
  • Want to lead with glimpse - we’ll have a way to do that.
  • Want full control over the order/signup options – we already do that! It will be more important than ever soon.
